League Bowling Information Swanton Sports Center 2007 League Information Fall leagues here at the Sports Center generally begin in late August and in early September. We have Men’s Leagues, Women’s Leagues, Mixed Leagues, and a fantastic Youth Program. There is something for everyone, and below is a list of our leagues. Generally we need at least a team or two to fill up for fall, so please call early for your choice. Tuesday: Ladies Major Handicap. Five women per team at 6:15PM Tuesday: Mixed High School Handicap at 6:15PM Wednesday: Men’s Minor House. Five men per team, handicap with a unique team and individual point system, at 6:15PM Wednesday: Elks and Friends, mixed four player handicap at 6:15PM Thursday: Uppen Attem Ladies Handicap, Four per team at 12:30PM Thursday: Swanton Independent (Sponsored by Bob’s Okeydokey Karaoke and DJ Service) Five man handicap at 6:15PM Thursday: THE ALL NEW Generations Pro Shop Scratch Trio League (sponsored by Generations Pro Shop). Three per team, limited average scratch format (limit will be determined at an early August meeting) Thursdays at 8:00PM.
Friday: Bob’s Okeydokey Karaoke Trio (Sponsored by Bob’s Okeydokey) Mixed Trio Handicap, 6:30PM Saturday: Youth Program begins with Pee Wee’s at 9AM, Bantams and Juniors bowl at 11AM, and our Junior High School League bowls at 2PM. Saturday: We have every other week Mixed Doubles Leagues on both Saturdays. These leagues bowl 16 weeks each, and there is some availability in both leagues at 6:30PM. Please call early to get the league of your choice. Sunday: Mixed High School Handicap at 12:30 PM Sunday: We have every other week mixed leagues at 3:00PM, and at 6:15 PM on both weekends. There is some availability in all of our Sunday Leagues, so call early to get the league of your choice. The newly redecorated Swanton Sports Center is Swanton’s place for family entertainment. Ballroom & Catering
  
The Swanton Sports Center Ballroom is a part of the complex here at 610 North Main Street, Swanton Ohio. Our Ballroom will seat up to 400 people in a meeting type setting, or for a Wedding or other event needing a dance floor it seats comfortably up to 350. We have a very efficient air conditioning system that will keep your party cool and comfortable on even the hottest summer day, and our heating system will keep the ballroom comfortable in sub-zero weather.
Dianne Westhoven is our Banquet Manager, and Dianne does a wonderful job of putting a great meal on the table for a reasonable price. Our staff of kitchen help, bus boys and girls, and our bar staff will all prove to be a valuable part of your experience by making every effort to make sure that your evening goes smoothly. The success of your party or event is as important to us as it is to you.
